High speed vibration.....

On my 99 C4 Cab, I feel a vibration at triple digit speeds. Had my wheels balanced, but still there. Also at freeway speed there is some "shake" the the steering wheel...any ideas? It just had PSS9's installed, but this was a problem before that install. It goes to the dealer monday, I'll have them check the suspension....On a C4 does the driveshaft ever go? Just curious...

When you had the tires balanced did they also do a road force vibration balance.

Thanks DB. I had heard that term thrown around but didn't know what it was.

I would suggest checking for a bent wheel. I've had two of my stock 18" wheels straightened and refinished to get rid of a high speed vibration. All they have to do is put it on a lift and rotate them to check them for "trueness".

Good Luck!
