I just got a complete clutch quote from my dealership last week to get ready for next season at the track - $1675. Your price is certainly not double but a little high. My price, after my PCA discount will be 10% less.

Just got my 04 back from the shop this morning. LNE IMS, RMS, clutch, flywheel and AOS. $2276 for parts and $1530 for labor. Total after taxes was just shy of $4100. It killed me to write a check for that much, but the piece of mind is a good thing. Performance Motorcar Investments in Corrales, NM did the work. It's amazing how the performance improved after getting everything done. I hope that's it for major work for awhile.

Or you are now less afraid to hammer the gas pedal with the new clutch and IMS and RMS. Feels good huh

I was very happy to see this thread. My clutch is getting close to the end and I was wondering which clutch kit is the best bang for the money. I would a good system since I like a good performance car but I will not track this car. I know that sunset has good prices and so does Pelican. I would appreciate any advice on this matter. Where is the best bang for the buck. I have a good wrench to do the work. Thanks.......

Not sure if I can help much, but PMCI charged me $650 for a Sachs kit. Might not be a bad idea to see what your indy can get one for?

While replacing the clutch, would it be prudent to also change the RMS and slave cylinder

I paid $2500 to have a new clutch, RMS and IMS (LN engineering) put in. $2500 was all in, covered parts and labor. It was an independent shop that has a great reputation for working on Porsches.
