does anyone know of a prefabricated battery relocate kit for the 996. maybe similar to the one rennline makes for the older cars.??

looking to put a lightweight battery at the bottom of the trunk space nice and neatly.

Is it to move the weight to a spot that is lower in the car than its current location? There are various generic battery relocation kits available at Pep Boys and other auto parts stores. While you're at it, you should install an Optima battery, which is somewhat lighter than regular batteries.
