not everyone appreciates the modifications/add-ons as much as you do. in fact, in the inquiries that i had, only 2 individuals actually "cared" for them, most others did not. i'm starting to wonder if listing the modifications in the ad (auto-trader) cost me potential bidders. anyhow, i think i would think twice before doing them next time, all but the wheels/tires.

All the mods are great BUT don't be biased by what you hear about on the Boards ... 99 % of the population do not modify their cars and you will always have problems explaining them to potential buyers. I personally would not list them.

 

You should keep your OEM parts and switch them with your aftermarket ones before selling.
Most of the time mods decrease your car's value.

 

the enjoyment for mod is the process & the first drive of the ''new'' feel. as long as u enjoy it. u just need to find the right buyer for it

 

You're right, it's always better to part out the mods and sell them separately. Even though I've fixed-up every car I've ever owned, I will only buy a vehicle if it's bone stock. You'll be lucky if you get 25% of the value of the mods in your selling price.

 

this is why i am parting out the car and selling it stock....
