Work Wheels On 996
that's good of you to own up, man, so props there.
my question is, i know work makes custom wheels (mine took a long 8 weeks from japan) so why would one advise joe to go this aggressive when you can shave off a few MMs to avoid all risks of rubbing at all?

No disrespect but some people don't like the tucked in look like your car was set up. Meanwhile others don't like the aggressive look like Joe's car. That's exactly the reason why I give the customer the option. I would personally prefer a less aggressive offset then Joe and more aggressive then yours. Probably something along the lines of et 63.
I never advise any of my customers to go aggressive that is there call. All I do is give them the options and risks and let them make an educated decision.

the thing is, it's not tucked in. it's the last thing people would ever say about my rear offsets. it's pushed out meaning it's at the very edge of what's allowable with untouched stock fenders. the photo makes it look crazy, but in person, it's a completely different show.
anyways, thx for sharing the pics. u had to have known you'd get some flack for the 4x4 look.

It looks stretched out to someone who's recommending balloon tires and ill-fitting wheels to his customers.
They're PS2s and they're not stretched by any stretch of the imagination. I forget the offset... all I know is that they're perfect for 996 widebody application. Alan Baylis knows.

Soo let me get it straight. You can voice your opinion, slam Joe's car and taste and call it a 4x4. But when I tell you the wheel looks tucked in and the tire looks stretched on your car your feelings get hurt.
I'm sorry if I hurt your feelings Benny. I hope we can still be freinds
Wow, I can't believe the all knowing Porsche Specialist Benjamin Choi doesn't even know what offset he has on his own car. Not to worry I am going to ask Alan Baylis. Actually, I'm sure you will look it up and let me know.

It's not just me, it's others who are questioning fitment. It looks odd. Period. Heck, you question it yourself, read what you wrote.
The lip on this particular car has not been rolled. However, I roll fenders all the time. I have a specific tool for the job. I even take the extra step of warming up the fenders prior to rolling in order to minimize the possibility of cracking the paint. Because of this aggressive application there is still a chance this car comes back for a fender roll. If 4 people are in the car and Joe goes up a drive way or hits his favorite corner there is a chance he will rub and possibly even pull down the inner fender lip. If that happens we will do a fender roll and take care of that.
This car is also lowered and does not rub.

The evidence is in the photos my friend. Lay off the tequila before you order up wheels? j/k

I thought you said the pictures of your car made your car look "crazy". I think it's probably just the camera. Don't worry BENNY HILL you don't have to justify your car to me I already told you I like your Aero front lip and Tech Art rockers.
This is fun. It's like playing with a dog and watching him chase his tail.

Yea except one is drunk giving bad fitment advice while the other is straight sober thinking clearly.
I couldn't care less whether you liked my car or not. You're just looking silly trying to compare good fitment wheels (mine) to poor fitment wheels (yours or sadly your customer's). Stretched tires? Tucked in? WAHAHAHAHA Same model/brand wheels, 19x12, 315/25/19 PS2s, save your roller and heat gun for Joe, Mr. Tech.
Share some of that agave with us, bud!

Your right even when I'm hung over I'm smarter then you. You see I tried to be nice but at this point it's no longer necesary. I will just continue to slam you with what you have already posted.
For example: I know you are into looking "CRAZY" but why is it that only half your car has Tech Art rockers. Could you not afford the other side?
I told you I can do this all day...

This isn't even my car honestly. It's my uncle's and I had his servant just go outside and put on the other side.
Didn't your smart self think maybe I posted a pre-sideskirt pic of my uncle's car to show off a better angle of the rear wheel fitment?

Hey everyone look for LA Tech for all your 4x4 work, but be careful, he might be sippin' some of that Patron!

So now your claiming it's not your car, it's your uncles who has a servant, who took the picture, but the picture came out "CRAZY".
OK, let me get this straight. You started out pretending its your car and have now disowned it and pawned it off like its your uncles.
So I get it, your on a Porsche forum hijacking other peoples posts and telling them what looks good, yet you have never owned a porsche yourself.
You shoot yourself in the foot with every post. BENNY HILL did you notice you labeled your own car as a 4x4. What is the matter with you? Did your mother drop you as a child?
BENNY HILL At this point you really need a shovel to get out of this hole. All I do is repeat the things you say to the guys here at the shop and you just crack us all up.
This has been a great comical birthday gift. Thank you.
BTW Don't forget to respond! It's like your my personal servant without getting paid.
