my question is, i know work makes custom wheels (mine took a long 8 weeks from japan) so why would one advise joe to go this aggressive when you can shave off a few MMs to avoid all risks of rubbing at all?

 

I never advise any of my customers to go aggressive that is there call. All I do is give them the options and risks and let them make an educated decision.

No disrespect but some people don't like the tucked in look like your car was set up. Meanwhile others don't like the aggressive look like Joe's car. That's exactly the reason why I give the customer the option. I would personally prefer a less aggressive offset then Joe and more aggressive then yours. Probably something along the lines of et 63.

 

the thing is, it's not tucked in. it's the last thing people would ever say about my rear offsets. it's pushed out meaning it's at the very edge of what's allowable with untouched stock fenders. the photo makes it look crazy, but in person, it's a completely different show.

I'm surprised the tire looks soo stretched out. Are those Pirelli 315/25/19 because they are notorious for running small. BTW what offset is that?

 

It looks stretched out to someone who's recommending balloon tires and ill-fitting wheels to his customers.

They're PS2s and they're not stretched by any stretch of the imagination. I forget the offset... all I know is that they're perfect for 996 widebody application. Alan Baylis knows.

Soo let me get it straight. You can voice your opinion, slam Joe's car and taste and call it a 4x4. But when I tell you the wheel looks tucked in and the tire looks stretched on your car your feelings get hurt.

It's not just me, it's others who are questioning fitment. It looks odd. Period. Heck, you question it yourself, read what you wrote.

As for my fitment, it's spot on. Period. I forgot the offset because I don't stress about them. I stressed about it when I ordered it and Alan handled it for me because he gave me good advice.

The evidence is in the photos my friend. Lay off the tequila before you order up wheels? j/k

Tucked in? WAHAHAHAHA Same model/brand wheels, 19x12, 315/25/19 PS2s, save your roller and heat gun for Joe, Mr. Tech.
