How do these aftermarket companies sell their bumpers when you can buy an OEM product for less? I've been looking at TT/C4S bumper from various companies and they cost more than the OEM pieces they copy. What gives?

hi Neil
did the same mod with my 99c2 , i bought a frt used cover from the local dealer [ owner bought a gt2 cover ]....
paid $ 500.00 ,that was a good price,i got nailed with the 3 grills
for this cover, the cost is aprox.. $ 100.00 each.
try and find a used one ...lots of tt owners upgrade the old bpr,make sure your hdlts will fit the tt bumper !
remove 1 inc from each side of the bumper rebar [you will need some brackets for the new cover ].
MAKE SURE YOUR HDLTS WILL FIT THE TT FRT COVER !.
