Need a quick answer to this since I'm at the office and don't have my 996 with me. Will magnetic track numbers stick on our car doors? I need to order some today for a track day this weekend. Reason I ask is because my friend's 997TT has non-metallic doors so magnetic numbers can't be used.

 

Yes they will work on your car (assuming no bondo).

You may want to put a little clear tape on the leading edge for the track. The numbers may fly off without it.

 

i have magnetic advertisement decal stickers all over my car from my sponsors. they stay in place without a problem at autox, etc. if you are interested, you can go to stanford signs, in redmond, wa. you can submit your colors, ideas, fonts, etc. they are FABULOUS. very professional and can custom make anything you wish. even sticker decal. i had them make my race number to match my helmet. they can also ship to you. here is a picture of the magnet they did for me (it's one of many. all of my wheel/tire sponsors use them as well). PM me if you'd like their info. you can tell them jody with the boxster sent you.

i also have them that go across the back of the car and the entire front and pass doors. =)
