Bugeye,

I have the BBS RS GT on my narrowbody. Here's someone selling some the widebody version on 6 speed (no affiliation) for what sounds like reasonable dough...

I like them a lot, especially in the diamond black finish.

ps. thanks for those of you who gave their input. there are so many styles out there. Personally mesh is not my thang. I still like something like the picture above. 7-9 spokes... Fly996, i like your advice...will look into it.

They still rub, I just have to be careful at dips. My wife bent the rear wheel and blew out both tires on the passenger side on way to work this morning.

You're a couple hours drive away from some great shops - Wheel Enhancement, GMG, etc. Take a day, enjoy driving your car and look at wheels in person. It's tough to really get a good perspective of how a wheel can change the look of your car without seeing it in person. Plus you get to talk to some real experts - John at Wheel Enhancement is great and Fabryce at GMG knows his stuff too.

Oh man, this is an impossible question to answer. You need to check out all the threads and all the cars with great wheels, and then it comes down to your own personal taste. there are some great threads in the forum on 996's and some really great cars and wheels. It's like you're asking someone to tell you to listen to Mozart and blow off Beethoven. Point is that you really cant make a bad choice. Check out Brando's wheels, possibly the best I've seen. And Ben, and Boochuck, and too many others with great set-ups. then bite the bullet, go for what you like, and post some pics for everyone to enjoy along with you. good hunting.....

check out these wheels.... I don't think Mr. Brando will mind if I ref to his C4S pic...

I'm running on stock tech twists, which I like just fine. But I'm also living with a promise about not doing any mods on my C4S until I sell my 911SC. But these wheels are way tempting to me.

very few people run wheels that are truly "great" - beware.
