Your recommended aftermarket wheels for a 996 c4s

I wanna hear some of your recommendation of aftermarket wheels for a 996 c4s. I prefer 19"s with lips. Please post pics if you can, so I can compare and see. HRE is having their open house next month near San Diego. I might check them out. Your input is much appreciated

I realize this is not a 996 but these were the only pics I could find. But you get the idea of craftsmanship. You can really put any custom twist on it that you like. I would do silver center, black windows, black outter barrel and red pin strip to match the calipers. You can virtually do anything you want for no extra cost. There is also a sweet mesh wheel. I will try and find you a pic. They are also top notch 3 pc forged wheels. You simply can't find a better deal. I will send you a pm with pricing.

Somewhat depends on your car (i.e. color, mods etc.) Would need to see pic's of the current setup and understand any planned mods to make recommendations...

U are absolutely correct on that one. My 996 c4s is arctic silver. no mods yet. Depends on the look of my new wheels. If they close the fender gap significantly and the car looks more aggressively dropped without rubbing the tires, i will stop there. Otherwise, i plan to change out the stock springs to H & R sport springs, which will drop on an average 1" or so. I am torn between black wheels with polished lips vs. just plain polished. Personally, I think black on black is a must, anything else it's an overkill. I dont want to trash the natural beauty of a classy sports car...

I had the chance to visit WheelEnhancements while traveling through LAX. Nice to see some wheels in person . . . Really nice finish (Technopolish) on Fikse, but went with Champion RG5s in the end due to the really clean design. Here are a couple photos on a C4S (old fashioned 18", however . . .)

Powdercoated BBS LM's with the polished lip would look great on your car IMO.

New wheels alone will not close the fender gap so plan on lowering the car. I would recommend the HRE P40 painted Artic Silver. That would give you that clean sporty look. They are also light weight (~21 lbs) which is something to keep in mind.

The yellow one with the mesh rims look good, I'm a big fan of mesh rims so I am biased toward that.
