1) It's more like something hitting something else.
2) It doesn't happen when going over bumps, front and rear are tough solid.
3) When i was stationary yesterday with the car warm, warm weather as well, it started making this clunk sound when i turned my steering to the L or R. Every inch or so turn would recreate the clunk. It was really bad, to the point that i thought something is about to come off.
Of course, when driving over 10mph, you won't hear them.

Have you taken the wheels off and had a good look round, given everything a firm shake to see if there's any play, no obvious signs of wear or colliding of parts? I would get it checked out. Could have been a stone even, i had one that got lodged in the calipers once, made the worst noise ever and freaked me, came loose and fell out... Get it checked though

Thanks Dervish.
I will do that this weekend. Once the wheels are off, is drop links the only thing to check for? Can i check the top hats (top mounts) or do they need to be disassembled?

did the problem go away or get fixed?
i have similar (if not the same) noise coming from abrupt bumps at parking speeds. also when tires are full-lock right as in pulling into a parking spot, theres a clacking sound which sounds like some kind of binding.

While the wheels are off (as it's easier to see) have a look at your sway bar bushes and see if they have worn. Maybe there is play in the bar causing that noise.
If there's nothing visably loose or nothing you can feel I'd get it to a service centre. Someone who can get the car in the air and have a look at the control arms and tie rods. Someone who knows Porsches. It's more an annoying problem than anything else.

I took the car to dealer and they could not find anything with bushings /etc. That's what the service guy told me. He blamed the shocks (pss9) for creating this noise. I mentioned about the sway bar end links to him earlier that day, he said they are fine.

I could not argue further and took the car back. Noise is still there.

This is mine:

Front suspension clunking only when braking at low speeds and softly, if I close the windows feels like on the middle front with windows open feels from the left front brakes, took both discs off, calipers, new pads, dont see anything loose but cant find the deam reason...
With the car lifted and having the engine run the wheels to duplicate the same braking scenario I dont get the noise

All this after installing NEW JIC suspension

do a google search on pss9 clunking. There is a ton of info out there on why this happens and how to fix it.
