Smile Questions for Supercharger Owners

Hey guys!

I just ordered my VF supercharger kit and I also want to get some gauages done with the install. What gauages do you recommend running? I was thinking about mounting them in the center where the CD holder is. Does any company make a setup that kits in there without modification? Are there any brands of gauages you guys recommend or I should stay away from? Pics would be appreciated.

Thanks guys!

Jason

rost12 is infamous around these parts
I went with PLX gauges. It's essentially a colour LCD screen that you can use to display a whole slew of stuff, all depending on how many control units and sensors you go with.

I have 2 gauges, 2 AFR sensors (one per cylinder bank), 2 EGT sensors and boost. With a supercharger you don't really care about the boost gauge, boost is RPM dependent, it's either there or it isn't... So I usually look at either EGT or AFR as early indicators of something being off.

They have a ton of display modes, can have up to 4 parameters shown at the same time, have a graph mode, design your own gauge graphics, put a picture of nekkid chick as background, anything you want pretty much.

Cool

I had the Zeitronix LCD display in my previous car that was highly modified with a Vortech SC.

http://www.zeitronix.com/Products/zt2/zt2.htm

I was very happy with it.

I also made a vow...that I would never add FI to any car again that did not come that way from the factory.

Good luck and I wish you well.
