Those Japanese shows always give the advantage to the Japanese cars, best driver, best tires.

I have this on DVD. The 911 Turbo was a tiptronic w/ GT2 Brakes & APR Suspension (that is what it said in the video). Quite honestly the Lambos out horsepowered it, and the NSX was a Type R, perhaps the finest NSX race iteration ever made. If they had a GT2 or GT3 in that race I think it would have been far different.

the video is great, love the inside shots, however I wonder how they chose the cars? Any Ideas?
By Price?
HP?
CC?
Best in class?
Just quite don't get it. You could use the GT2 but is way more expensive, also the Modena that they are using is not the fastest they've got, etc. I think the only one that is best of its class is the BMW.

I would imagine getting these cars together in Japan is quite an acomplishment. Car ownership in Japan is quite a bit harder then here in the states. Not only do you have to have the funds to buy the car. You have to have the funds to either lease or buy a parking space( which is really really expansive in Tokyo and you can't buy a car until you proove you have a place to park it.) Take into consideration the traffic and the road condition there, and it just make more sence to use the very developed public transportation system.

Peter
