tequipment oval pics (C2 coupe)

Great forum!

Newby here. Does anyone have a rear shot of an early 996 (99-01) w/ Tequipment Oval tips?

Aaron @ Suncoast in FL. has them, but I need a picture of the tips on the car. It's a good chunk of money, w/ no performance increases, but I want larger exhaust tip openings to fit better in large bumper openings.

Thanks!

you have to play with it... there is plenty of adjustments to get it right... look under you car if the v bands are all rusted out... might be worth while to get new ones... they're cheap. GL

yeah crazy expensive tips.... the falling $$$ doesnt help.

I found a full rear view of your car, in a thread you started "996 pic thread"
back in 3/07. Beautiful! Do happen to remember where you bought the Clear third Brake light …………….

Did you sell the car?

REALLY APPRECIATE YOUR HELP!

The order page only shows the clear brake light for the 986. I left a message and hope for a return call..

On another note, I have been looking for someone to paint my bumperettes and WOW, they spray them for peanuts. That made my day!

Again....THANKS!

BTW, since you are on West Coast- You may want to try Sunset Porsche in Oregon. Parts at cost, nice folks. Shipping will cost you much less.

oops,

Your car is sooo nice. '99 is when I really took notice of the 911, I especially love the clean lines of the non-aero narrow bodied 996's. Are your wheels 18" or 19"?

Thanks jmla. The wheels are the Ruf 18" 8.5 front & 10" rear. I love the lines on the non aero too. But in some instances, the aero package (Redridge) looks perfect.

Here's a slightly different angle:
BTW, have Eric @bumperplugs paint your bumperettes
