Last April my brother(996c2) and I were able to do the PDE in Alabama. We had a blast! I highly recommend it, however it is a bit pricey(2500 2d course). Has anybody else done it, what did you think?
I'm thinking about the "Masters" 2d course next spring, can't decide, is it really that much better than the initial course or just a repeat of the same for 3000$.
The one thing it did do is to get me hooked! I've started to do some DE stuff locally. Any comments, esp re the masters version would be appreciated.

I've done both the basic and the master's course. I had a blast both times, but the master's is much better. Much more track time, and several hours on the second day where you can pass and aren't playing "follow the leader.' It is expensive, but the facility and the instructors are top-notch. (I did the master's in May -- I assume they will soon be getting 997's -- wonder if they will be S's?)

I was part of the 1st Masters course.
It's a nice step beyond the PDE. Passing is ok, less follow the leader, more of a blast.
