I believe they will fit.Call suncoast to confirm,they have sold plenty.I know the ebay headers fit 996 and 997

Why put headers designed for a 3,8 997 on a 996?

If they are better on a 996 Porsche would have discontinued the exisitng 996 headers and replaced them with the new 997 ones...

They fit fine, nice headers if you already have them. If not, buy the suncoast one's

Remember that the X-51 headers were an upgrade for the 997's as well, so regardless of whether or not Porsche decided to supercede the stock 996 headers to the 997 number, they still would not have made the X-51 part number the direct supercession.

Please contact Karl Poeltl at Racer's Edge (racersedge-inc.com). He has designed headers for 996 to gain more hp. He has a set for X51 996 engines.
