Anyone installed EVO HighFlow Fresh Air Intake System?

Have you installed the EVO HighFlow Fresh Air Intake System from EVO?

I am considering this MOD on my 3.6 C4S and am interested if anyone else has installed it. How did it install? Did you notice any power or sound? Any problems with MAF?

Don't need all the negative from those of you who think the stock air flow system is good enough. The EPA imposes very strict rules on noise/emissions that force manufacturers to choke their engines down. A free flowing inatke will help. I am not expecting to feel 3-4% (8-10hp) increase but I think i will hear it and besides, it will look cool.

evo highflow

Captain Tal
I have this on my 03 C2 Cab and LOVE it!!
Sound is frigg'n awesome and i did notice increased throttle response.
I also recommend Fabspeeds exhaust,it makes for a sweet combo!!
So far no MAF problems and super easy to install...go for it.

I also had it on my '00 996. Loved the sound. Easy install. Instead of buying a special tool to remove the MAF screws, I used a pair of small vice grips. No issues with the MAF. Maybe a small performance increase according to the butt dyno.

i had one on my 01 C4. the sound is SOOOO much better than stock. you'll probably lose a little HP in city driving since you'll suck in hot engine compartment air, but on the highway, you should get maybe a slight increase since the engine compartment air is flushed out by the speed of the car. i did a simple test: after driving in the city, if you stop and open the engine compartment, the aluminum plate over the airbox and the metal mesh on the air filter is warm. if i checked it after driving on the highway, and then going a couple of miles through the city back to my house, both things would still feel cold when i got back to my garage. not the most scientific test, but sometimes simple is best!

overall, i don't know if it really increased the HP. but the sound sure as heck makes you feel like it did! and if it decreases the HP in the city, well, who really needs 320HP in city driving anyway!
