Gauge Mounting Options

What do we have to choose from? I see that MK1 996's get mounts for the steering column but what about MK2 996's. I have searched and found nothing. If all else fails, looks like im building something using the two pocket piece infront of my shifter.

Auto meter does make a pod for the steering colum, it does state MK1 for the 911 but it I thought they were the same as the MKII.
Check it out
I am also looking to see if it works.I want to install a actual boost gage for my TT
http://www.sfxperformance.com/parts/AUM20013.htm

***EDIT***
I just called Auto meter tech support and they said it would not work for 2002+, i dont understand why, it should be the same,I think for the little amount it costs i am going to order one to see if it fits and if not why.

go with what i suggested. i use it on my supercharged c2. it's the best option, probably the least expensive, takes up very little room, and has the ability to datalog to a lap in addition to peak hold numbers.... the other gauges are pretty but are quite difficult to actually watch when you're WOT. datalogging is very nice!

I follow Imagine Auto's BLOG. Recently there was a post about gauges. http://imagineauto.wordpress.com/200...-not/#comments Although for a TT, it may be a nice option. Their website is http://www.imagineauto.com
