Ipod and 2002 996??
I have been searching for a bit, and I think I have the correct answer.
Is the only way to get an Ipod connected and charging capablilities with the Dension/Iceline gateway 500?
What about if I have the stock navigation unit?
Any help would be appreciated.

You need to get Euclid's iPorsche, he actually designed it for your model year. It's 65 bucks and it works beautifully replacing the input for the CD changer. It charges and plays through the AUX mode on your stock head unit. I have one and LOVE it!
