Who's got the best insurance rates for P-cars?
I found that you save alot of money putting your home and cars on the same policy with one of the big insurers. I use state farm. I pay $1150/year for my Porsche (it was $700 until my kid had to be assigned to it) $700 for my 2001 BMW and lesser amounts for my other 3 cars. I have full coverage of towing, rental, the maximum liability and medical and a $500 deductable for collision and no deductable for comp. From the sound of it, some of you guys are either getting ripped off or may not have the best of driving records if you're paying as high a price as you state. Or maybe prices are lower here in Chicago suburbs.

If you are in New Jersey and have a clean license, I would recommend New Jersey Manufacturers. They have the best rates. I used to have AIG and Geico(used to live in NY). I did not like Geico, you get one ticket or make a claim and your rates go through the roof. I pay 1280 for my 01 TT with 1K deductable. I have 3 cars on the policy, the TT was the most expensive. I have a 03 3.0 X5 and a 02 745, those are both 800-900 each. I used to have a 03 CL55 and that was about the same (800-900). The X is my primary. Their claims are the best, my body shop tells me this. He tells me that a good way to determine how good an insurance company is the way they handle claims. He loves NJM, he says they allways pay 100% of his estimates and are easy to work with. He shop is very expensive shop.
