Radio dead after battery change

Recent battery change has left me without radio. Has anyone reprogrammed one before?

mfm,

Do you have the radio code for your radio?? When you tried to turn it on, it should have asked for a code that is 4 digits long. Many dealers write the code on your option sticker under the front bonnet. If it not there, it should be part of owners manual set and the code is usually on a business sized card.

If you have tried to enter the code and made a mistake, it will make you wait an hour or so before you can try entering the code again. If you don't have the code, you can contact becker and they will get you the code for a fee. lastly, the dealer can also get you the code for a LARGER fee ;-)

Good Luck!! demosan

mfm,

Check both the fuse in the fuse block as well as the fuse on the back of the radio. You'll have to pull the radio from its slot to access the fuse.

Many posts on this form for DYI on pulling the radio.

Again, good luck!! demosan
