Steering Wheel Shakes

At higher speeds ( 65+) the steering wheel shakes but does not effect direction of the car. None of my wheels are bent. Any idea to what may be causing this problem?

check your tires for bulges (especially the inside)...or you may have lost a wheel weight..there is certainly something out of balance..you might also check the steering links for looseness and check wheel bearings...good luck

It started to happen after I put my iForged wheels on. I ordered them directly from iForged and they were built for my 911.

IForged's are known to lose wheel weights at the track..something to do with the coating...most racers put extra tape over them to keep them from falling off...check your fronts and see if you didn't lose a weight...

Your wheels might not be bent, but you might have lost a weight off of one of them. Have you had the balance checked?

edit - wow, this is why I should check for new posts...

Is there anyway I can visually tell if the wheels are hubcentric?

if part of the hub fills the wheel opening (either a ridge like Porsche has or a hub center that goes inside the wheel like a race car) then it is hubcentric (self centering)...if there is no ridge on the hub and the wheel is only positioned by the lugs then it is not hub centric unless it is drilled that way. Some wheels are drilled so that they are self centering on the lugs...check with manufacturer...most modern wheels are self centering (hubcentric)
