My 04 C4S has had radio problems for awhile. Apparently, a typical issue with the head unit stuck with starting on and off, PORSCHE flashing on the display. I have ignored it since it always fixes itself eventually. This time it hasn't, and I am comtemplating my next move. I have read on the other forums about amps and the head units being replaced without any lasting success, and no definitive answer to why this problem occurs in the first place. Is a new system the only answer?

 

i had similiar problems, try disconnecting the battery and see what happens. it may just be a voltage problem.

Mine has a CD arm issue. My friends 03 C4S has a similar issue as yours. Not sure, but seems like four or five year old CDR23s start to breakdown.

 

6 years old and no problems yet.. fingers crossed
