Does anyone know of an instance of where a Supercharger nullified a factory warranty? Thinking very seriously of stepping over the line on my 04 4S and while this answer won't make my mind, I would like to know if I am truly risking my warranty.

I gotta think it would void the warranty. I'd be very tempted to try it. While at Lime rock, a guy had it on a 996, that car hauled butt! It made a few turbos look bad.

Voiding the warranty depends on a lot of factors. Yes the SC should void your warranty, but it also depends on the problem, the shop you had the SC installed and your Porsche service advisor. All those factors can help fix a problem should one occur.

And on that note, that's why you should only buy your porsche from Carlsen, and mod it at Akkurat. The service managers at Carlsen knows the Akkurat crew personally. Don't think either party will ever leave you hanging.

[Alex, you own me a discount on this one ]

You can always take the super charger out and put back to stock if something bad happens. Not fun but better then buying a motor. The supercharger is very conservative on the boost and really should not add to much adverse wear to the motor and the 3.6 handles it very well.

So far it's been great! A few minor problems, but nothing I would complain about.

I've taken it to the track once and I think I'm going again next week.

As for an installer in your area I would check the EVOMS site and see who they list.
