I can sorta kinda relate. I worked on my wife for quite a while before she gave me the OK on my Porsche. At that point it was a freakin mad dash to find one before she changed her mind!

I am having a little trouble with the wife and mods for the car too.

She is going through the "after 2 babies full body rebuild" (her words) from tucks to lifts and all. I posed the question if I could spend as much money on my car as she was on her rebuild. The look of "oh ****" was funny

I guess im just lucky then! Im only expected to give on valentines, the bday, and christmas!! And she hates when i throw money at her! She says "A present should be from the heart!!!" Suck on that one guys!!!
