Pale Yellow, Cool or Yuk?

I'm not sure this is the right forum, because the color applies to 993 and 996. But i have a speed yellow 996, so here goes.

Has anyone seen that pastel lemon yellow color? I can't decide if it's nice or not. Would it kill the resale value? I'm thinking it could look good with black wheels and a black "carrera" stripe across the bottom of the door. Any opinions? I attached a couple pix.

It is a really great color, but for classic cars. To me it seems like it needs to be on a smaller car in order to look good. Something about the lines of modern cars that it doesn't seem to compliment as well. I like it on that 993 though. I think that the aggressiveness of speed yellow looks more appropriate on the 996.

yeah, like a 356 or a '57 vette or a '64 healey. and speed yellow would look inappropriate on those older models.

I like both colors of yellow! I kept calling it "chiffon" verses pastel though. lol! I especially like the pastel or pale yellow on the speedster with a tan top. i'm not a fan of it on the 993 unless it is done like bruces car (986 picture posted above).

I really like the classic race colors like Gulf Blue. I like this retro yellow too, but I am also partial to non-traditional colors in general . . .
