Front tire weird scuffing noise when turning hard under slow speed maneuvers

Newbie here. I just got my car, a 2001 C2 Cab and while maneuvering in a parking lot the other day, the front tires were like scrubbing on the pavement under almost full turn maneuvers. Is this normal? I used to have a full time 4 wheel drive truck that did the same thing under slow speed almost full turn maneuvers but I attributed it to being a full time 4 wheel drive. This is a C2. Any info is greatly appreciated!

Is it possible that you have 19" wheels and 235/35/19 tires on the front? That is one explanation

225?

Will 225 35 19 prevent or are they too big as well?

My 19's rub in the front when you turn the wheel all the way. Doesn't hurt anything though

Check your fender liner to see if you are rubbing.

If so, it might be big wheels; bad alignment; front fender liner is not fully connected.

Screamin,

What size tires do you have in the front?

235/35/19. They rub on the plastic fender liner a little bit in tight parking lot turns. No biggie

Houston,

Honestly, I can't even remember. Never had to replace the front. I'll look at it when I get it back from the shop!

My 235/35R19's don't rub at all. I'm lowered and have a 5mm spacer.
