Will this tire/wheel setup work?

I have an '04 Cab NB, which presently has 18''X10'' (65MM offset) with 285/30. Im thinking about putting 19''X10'' (47MM offset) with 285/30 19. Would this stick out too far?

Thanks

I think that offset is too low and a 285/30R19 is too tall.

Thanks.

It would be about 3/4'' beyond where my 285/30 18'' presently are, which would be right on the edge of the fender well. I think im going to go with 265/30 19''

You can use this calculator to see where you stand:

Ideally, you'd use a 305/25R19 - but they are rare. Dropping to the 265 gives up a good bit of width. Consider a 275/30 or if you have the option, test fit a 315/25. You may want a 10.5" for the 305-315 size.

I like that calculator from Brando. It is a good guideline, but doesn't replace a test fit.

285/30/19 is a bit tall but within the 4% error rule of thumb.... idealy you want 25"... since thats how these cars were designed for. For 19" you want 11" running 305/25 or 315/25.

I run a 10" 42et in the 285 rear right now. Perfectly flush. The tire might be too tall(overall diameter) as other posters stated.
