I need to reset the airbag light on my 996

Hi folks,

Is there anybody in Mn with a scanner that I can reset the airbag light on my 996 for $. Planning to invest in a Durametric next month and do away with the Actron CP9175 that I own. Thanks guys.

I cleared my codes with Durametic, then replaced the seat belt receiver, but still have the air bag light on with code 31 saying passenger ignition error. What now? Guessing the ignition switch?

What year is your 996? Do the seat belt buckles have the gold connectors? Check the passenger buckle connections/sensors first.

Yeh. I just put new ones in with gold connectors. The one I removed was also replaced at some point. It had gold connectors too.

Is your offer is still good ? I'm in Southern California in Torrance. Airbag light is on. Car was sitting for a while and battery drained so may be related to that or perhaps wire harness that others have suggested. I'll make it a twelve pack due to inflation.
