anyone have any good experiences with these navtv guys' product? i know the DICE and Dension units for the MOST system. but how about these guys?

i have the CDR23 head unit and am hoping to make a decision soon.

The Nav-TV unit will not work with CDR23 it requires the PCM. you will need to go Dension or MOBridge ( I prefer Mobridge) but the CDR is not Text compatible so you will need to fly blind or mount the ipod where you can see it.

tho, i'm contemplating searching on how to upgrade my CDR23 with the PCM and adding something like the mobridge.

 

I actually did one for a customer once. it requires a new bezel around the radio, AC relocate kit to move them down. if the car is not bose. you can easily rewire the amp and use a new stereo to power the exsisting speakers. I have actually done a few 996 upgrades with Focal Access 3-ways for the front and 4" coax in rear and either a small amp or the deck power to start. The Alpine ida-x305 w/ bt has been popular because of the coming release of the 45wX4 power pack amp. This is better audi performance for the money instead of a lack luster Porsche PCM
