Question Porsche 996 Turn Indicators/Signals not working

I have a 2003 C4S and one day noticed that the turn signal was not working during a short drive to my office. I did not think of it again, as they worked for another month or so (though I only drive it once a week). Now the signals do not work at all. Obviously, I checked the fuse, but everthing is okay there. Any ideas? Thanks

Neither side works at all? Is the signal blinking fast on your dash?

Neither side works and there is no activity on the dash. If I turn on the indicator in either direction, nothing happens.

In the 996 EVERYTHING for the signals goes through the Hazard switch...Gauge pod indicators....EVERYTHING....i would start there see if that switch works

You are a life-saver! Thanks for taking the time to read my question and respond. It turns out that the hazard button was "stuck" in the trim piece. Fixed that and the indicators work! You saved me a trip to the dealership over something very simple.
