60K service is due on my 996c4s... which dealership 2 go 2 in LA?

my 60,000 maintenance is due and i have just started shopping around at local dealerships, Rusnak in pasadena and Downtown Porsche so far. i got quoted $1500 +/-....aaaaahhhhh, LOL!

i have an extended warranty on my c4s and have to follow all scheduled maintenance as part of the contract, thus going to the stealership. i did speak with my warranty rep., and he did say i can go to any shop as long as they are ASE Certified.

HELP!!! Any good Porsche dealership recommendations around Los Angeles or within a 25mile radius? how much did u pay for the 60K? pros/cons of the dealership, besides it being expensive?

OR

Any good Porsche repair shops with ASE Certification? should i just stick with the dealership and bite the bullet?

thanks in advance everyone!

I did mine at Hergesheimer in Lake Forest, about 1k, and they did great work. Lucent Motors is a good option too in West LA

I just got my car (02 c4s) and I'm about to do the 30k service on it at Redline. My good friend Ernie Becker pointed me the way there and after a short phone call and a background check these cats KNOW what they're doing.

He's worked on P-cars for years and knows his stuff, his prices are good too. Talk to Ernie, he'll get you a good quote.
