in the used car market. The option was $8K and surely, they dont bring that much of a premium over a non-aerokit car, but it has to add some significant value. I have not come across too many of them, so they must be a pretty rare commodity.
are they readily available for purchase? i dont think something is rare if you can order them next day from a website, albeit at a premium
Body kits are expensive to buy, prep, and paint. They also bring very little value to the car at resale time. That's why I've got my stock bumper in the attic. When the car goes, it will be put back on and the GT3 bumper will be sold separately.
Its actually a bumper, wing, side skirts, and an extra option has lower wings on the rear bumper.
If you are looking for a factory ordered P-car, then yes, it can be a rare find. Mine is factory ordered and I've been tempted to change the headlights, etc, etc, but I believe it holds more value as a factory Aero.

C4S is diffrent than Narrow Bodied 996... Its only a Deck Wing and a Front Lip... http://e-partssales.com/Merchant2/me...Code=POTE996EX Infact is identical to the Turbo Aerokit... but not the same if you know what i mean, that why Turbo Aero kit is 5k and C4S Aerokit is 9k
Shouldnt be worth much more than a Regular C4S

yeah, i believe in addition to the front spoiler and rear wing, you also get the painted lower skirts. Ok, so Im looking at roughly a 3k premium. Thanks for the input!

PS: You can get Replica's for much cheaper...
Where can you buy aerokit replica wings for the C4S? I've never seen them.
Im 100% sure one of the Vendors here have em... I was looking in to it, untill i decided to do full TechArt, then i Decided to get a 997 next year :P
Just my opinion.......I don't think a factory aerokit would/should bring a very high premium over a non-aero kit for a 996 C4S.
I'm not debating on whether it's in fact rare or not, just that in the used 996 car market I think $2-$3K is on the high side to pay for this option. If anything, I would say that having the aerokit would make the car more desirable and maybe easier to sell, but just at the upper end of the going price range for a non-aerokit car.
Best of luck.
