Un-level pss9.. hmmm
Hello all,
I recently installed the Bilstein PSS9 on my '99 C4, paired w/ GT3 f/r sways and am having a bit of a problem leveling the car. I'm nearly 1/2" higher on the passenger side front and rear. The thing that doesnt make any sense to me is I have less thread left on the high side for the height adjustment, which, in my mind should be the other way around if it's higher.

I did notice the rear sway is shifted toward the passenger side a pretty good amount while at rest. It may be a clue.. I'm going to unbolt the sway this week and neutralize it to see if that has any effect.
I'm thinking it's something simple but if anyone has any useful ideas let me know - I'm scratchin' my head here..
all the best,
rb

How are you measuring the height? If you are measuring from the fender lip to the ground you will always note some difference between wheels. Also note that you will never get all for corners to be exact because the vehicle is generally not 100% true. What are you using as guides when you make adjustments? A good starting point is to measure the shock from the lower adjustment ring to the center on the mounting bolt (on the rear) and from the lower adjustment ring to the top where the shock slides into the mount (on the front) This should give you a good starting point. But true height adjustment needs to be done via the points that Porsche has identified under the vehicle.
