Looking around for a center jacking point. I'm going to pull off Fabspeed mufflers and swap on some bypass pipes. If it is as easy as everyone says I'll just swap on and off as needed. Anyway, I notice my tire has cord showing through. Just replaced the right rear two weeks ago because I ran something over. Would have never know if I wouldn't have been looking around. Good news, its still dry under there.

Are you lowered and running massive neg camber?

Glad you caught it before it blew out on the freeway.

Muffler swap is pretty easy.....espec if you remove the rear wheels.

Spray the bracket nuts and clamps with some penetrating lube beforehand.

 

Its lowered on 19's , I guess that's probably the issue. Also, I would bet I have been driving all around like that. Its scary when I think about so highway trips I've taken.

do you have any vibrations while driving?.... these cars are very sensitive to alignment.

 

No vibration at all. I sprayed my nuts while I was under there.....

It will make your life much easier later.......

And I'd get the alignment checked asap.

 

No doubt just look at the upward angles on those lower control arms.

The rear toe setting being out can really accelerate inside edge wear like you have. I would get that checked out asap. I run almost 3 degrees of negative camber in the rear and never see that kind of wear. A bad toe setting however will kill a set of tires in one weekend.

 

since it's only seen in one place, maybe braking hard did it? its time for a new tire!
