I plan on changing my 2004 996 Carrera 2 rear tail lights to LED ones. Was wondering if you guys could clarify one thing for me.

Are the C2 rear tail lights the same shape as the C4 rear tail lights?

There is a difference between a C4 and a C4S. The S has a wider rear and PET lists a different part number for the tailight for the C4S than the C2 or C4.

 

That is the worse photoshop ever in that link. They photoshopped the led lights onto a widebody 996. We ran a groupbuy on them and there were some initial problems with the LED lights throwing warning lights on the dash but it seems to have been sorted out. We still have a couple left and sell them at a lower price than what they have it listed for.

Don't buy them off ebay though get them from Precision Porsche cheaper!
