question...

after 3 weeks ownership of my 03 TT i have a question for every P-car owner.

does the rattling noise comment in 996?

after 3 weeks, both of my doors and center console, maybe also the seat areas have rattle noise. i figured i better turn the audio on all the time to NOT hear the noise.

well, i ask because on my pervious 02 C4S had the same noise problem. i took the car back & the dealer was able to fix them but after a while they'd come back again.

i probably won't take the car back just to fix those noise problems, but i do want to know if everyone's car here is noise free & rattle free?

i do have bad luck buying everything though

I've got an 01 with a rattle in the back they can't seem to fix. It's been there 2 times already. I'm taking it in for a little warranty work on Friday, so maybe this time they can get it.

The only rattle here was in the CAB hardtop, turned out to be one of the pins in the rear, had both sides replaced under warranty and nothing since.

I agree. Aside from large bumps, the car is tight.

My '00 had a door squeak, but my current '02 has no real problems with sounds. (knock on wood)
