Maybe I'm just crazy, but I feel like it definitely makes my car sound a little more refined/porsche-like!

I know it doesn't add any power, but no risk/no time or money investment....it's a win/win!!!

I have the cap installed with stock exhaust and it sounds awesome after the VarioCam makes the 5k shift.

I think removing the screens is a bad idea though. I tried with and w/o. Its like the air is turbulent without and the car studders when you punch it at low RPM.

What would suck (no pun inteded) is if the cap gets hot, deforms, and gets sucked into the intake because you took the screens out........

The cap is already behind the screens.

I finally got my orange cap in the mail today. I put it in and the sound seems the same in low rpm's, but once I hit the throttle, I could hear the difference. Btw, I have the PSE. The sound is not that much of a difference, unless u drive at higher rpms on the PSE, but it does sound alittle better when you rev match downshift (deeper)

Yea. The orange cap was in there all this time. See the cap below at the bottom.

Cool. Well if you can tell from the inside of the cabin, the sound difference should be more pronounced to someone listening from the outside... The PSE sounds pretty refined though, so I don't think it's going to show as much improvement as my GHL Loud did...

Kirby--is there a reason you're not using the orange cap mod anymore?
