Welcome.

Get the PPI. Call around and find out exactly what the PPI will include. I found that of the 4 shops I called they all had a different list. I bought an 01 with 65k miles on it and had the same worries as you. A good PPI will help ease your mind and potentially lower the cost or get any issues fixed b4 purchase.
