Question Air Bag Failure Light.....

Hi guys, Following my GT3 seat install I have a air bag failure notice and the airbag light stays on.
Is there a way to clear this? I've already tried to disconect the battery, but that has not worked, and I've tried a generic OBD II code reader, which didn't find any codes.
Is there a specific code reader needed or another way to get rid of the code?
Thanks
Shalil

Did you have the battery disconnected when you replaced the seats? the only way to clear the airbag light is durametric, PIWIS or PST2.

GTEE83 is infamous around these parts
I know this may not seem related, but check the electrical connection to the seat belt buckle - the one that rings the incessant chime. That is what the dealership worked on when mine went in for that problem a few years ago. I don't know what else they did, but it worked, because the problem went away.

I had the same thing occur to me a week ago. It was caused by the seat belt buckle connector under the seat that was disconnected and reconnected.

The airbag light will need to be reset by the dealer or Durametric.

This will take the dealer less than 3 minutes to do. A dealer charged me 31$ to have it done.

Another dealer insisted on a flat rate of 119.99 to hook up their computer. Bad call on their part... Guess where I am going for sevice next time.
