I have a full face but I really regret it, especially those hot summer days sitting in the pits for 10 mins waiting for a green flag, +1 for open face

Full-Face. If you end up pushing yourself, you'll end up buying one anyway; so why buy 2. Get the lightest one you can afford. That's what I did. No regrets.

VERY good point... the thought of wearing a 'loaner' helmet makes me shiver...

Summer days in toronto! lol. Try 110+ on the grid, and 130+ on track here in Texas.

And even with those temps, I would still wear a full face and nomex suit. Safety first. Besides, you'll only get one chance to get it right beforehand.

A Open Face Helmet and some Glasses for sure is more Comfortable and looks more Cool only until you get your Airbag blown in your face after a crash .

Here is the link for arai auto helmets. I also notices they flattened out the mounting points for the Hans anchors.

Most manufacturers make a full face helment with a wider opening for use with glasses. I recommend it even if you don't wear glasses because it offers better vision.
