Need a part number please

I installed a new plenum on my 996NB non turbo.. while I was doing this I broke the rubber piece with a screw in it that holds a small bracket that goes from the throttle body to the alternator, I have no idea what it is called if someone can help me out.

No, I have a copy of PET and also recently replaced the one on my 996. It is a part that has been used on alot of Porsches, thus the 930 part number. I overtightened the nut on mine and it broke the metal out of the rubber. It is used to secure the throttle body while isolating it from the vibrations of the engine. What year is your car, I want to make sure it is the same as mine.

I have a 2000 NB cabrio

I over tightened it also when I installed my rss plenum. Where can I order this online?

That is the part, mine is also a 2000 cab. You can order it from Sunset, but it is so cheap it probably makes sence just to go to a local dealer and walk out with the part. However, I did drive mine for a few days with it missing so no big deal.

Your fast

I sent a pm and you answered both. Thanks I know it is not the most important part but sometimes the dealers really have no clue so the part number and name is a big help. Vic

Just looked it up on Renntech, part number is superceded to 999.703.265.00. The list price is $17.16 (rediculous) but I don't think I paid that much at the local dealer, and they are usually really high.

I take that back, looked at the invoice from The Porsche Exchange and they listed the price as $36.53, and sold it to me for only $24.35, gosh what a deal, I bet it must cost at least $2.00 to make the part, but it is a Porsche.
