Question Another wheels question

My HREs are going to arrive anytime soon...

But I am faced with a problem. I was told by my tire shop shop that the size of rear tires, 315/25/19 will be too big for a standard C4S cab configuration.

Has anyone fitted 315/25/19 tyres onto a C4S or a C4S cab with standard suspension in place? I think rolling the lip might help but not entirely sure...

or do I have to buy myself a set of PSS9?

many thanks!

depends on the offset. HRE is custom built wheel for ur car so i don't see any problem with it. what's the width of the rear wheel?

since u're running stock suspension i don't see u'll have any problem. if u decide to go with PSS9 rolling the fender is a better option for u. again, the offset & the width of the wheel will be the factor.

The rear wheels are 11 inches wide... with a 4 inch lip...

I forgot what the offset is but I told my tyre shop that it has to fit my cab.

My tyre guy said the problem maybe with the tyres (contisport II) as the sides kind of bulges out...

As mentioned........if you have stock suspension, the car is high enough that fender clearance is not an issue (even if the offset is very low).
An offset of 42 front, 30 rear could require fender prep (for instance), if you had very low suspension (as w/coil-overs cranked down).

Thanks guys.

I am hoping the rims will come these few days... it's delayed already...

I feel like a six years old waiting for the candy store to open...

After some enquiries, I realised that someone in Hong Kong actually carries the HRE brand.

I placed the order on 6 Oct and I am still waiting. I was told by the shop that the rims were done and was waiting for Fedex to pick up on Thursday 11 Nov (US Time)... so I am hoping to receive them sometime today or tomorrow...

the thing that bugs me is that it's been nearly 7 weeks and I will be travelling soon...
