I have a 996 with 91k miles. I have stored it during the winter but the previous owners drove it all winter. I bought it with 84k miles. Around the driver side door latch. Not on the door itself but on the left rear fender in a sense has bubbles in the paint assuming surface rust around it.

Is this something major or has anyone else had this issue?

this should be Covered Under Corrision Warranty... Take it to you local Dealer
