Meridain Metalic?

I went and looked at a 2002 C4S in Meridian Metalic. I was having a hard time trying to figure out what the color really was. The sky was a bit overcast and it looked like the car was silver or gray but then I got sunny out and it looked like there might be some gold in the paint or red? Seems like it might be somewhere between gray and silver. Also the readout said natural gray leather but it was clearly black leather. The carpets might have been more gray but nothing like the gray I have seen before. Anyone else have this color?

It must have some red in it. Seems like a rare color.

I have one in Meridian Metallic

Meridian Metallic is classified as a "special paint" and commanded a premium option price. I recently purchased a 2004 996 C2 coupe in this color and I agree it seems to change in different lighting conditions. From silver to platinum to light grey and I do see a bit of red sometimes, not the best times!!! It is interesting, addign even more character!! I recall seeing a dark blue color on some 911's that looked purple under certain lighting conditions as well.

Killer color... I am so happy I found one of those when I bought my 02 C4S !!

I haven't seen another one so far. It could even have some pink/purple to it. It all depends on the weather... Go for it, you'll love every minute of it!

Not sure a pink C4S is what I am going for? It is a cool color. Do you have any pictures of your C4S that you can post or send me that represent the true color?

Not sure about the "true color" but here are a few shots

It all depends how you look at it, but here it is:

OK. I'm sold. Looks very nice. The last picture is probably what I would call platinum. Can really see the "Metallic" quality of the paint.

fotostars, Is that the stock front lip? The one I am looking at has a different lip. It's a one piece lip that stretches all the way across. It's pretty scrapped up and I would want to replace it with one like you have.

I don't know. I got the car with this on. You'll have to look at stock photos to compare.
(My is totally trashed as the car is lowered ~1")

Did you buy it yet?

PS: I changed the bumperettes for painted ones (not shown on my pics)
it's an even meaner rear. I highly recommend it!

Didn't buy it.. yet. Put an offer in tonight. I guess we'll see if it sticks. It's a nice looking 911. Sport seats, full leather, 28k miles, bose, PASM, Porsche metal pedals. The full leather is an impressive option. Did you paint your wheels the color of the car? The silver with the meridian seems like it contrasts a bit. I would think the turbo twists could be painted or powder coated that color.

Oh yeah. The lip appears to be the lip from the turbo. It's not bad but I like the C4S lip better.

Standard wheels on the track picture (Actually Turbo wheels: hallow and permanent metal valves). They look exactly the same as the C4S wheels, just a little lighter)...
