Grease on Cab Top

Hello,

I had a Cab with a gray top. A small grease spot developed at the top right corner of the driver side window. It kept coming back even though it was removed several times (by me and the dealer). I now have a black top and the spot is back but it is not very noticeable on black. Two questions:

1. What's the best way to clean that off without damaging the top?

2. What do I need to do in order to stop it from happening at all?

Thanks

Roy

I would try something mild like Woolite and found out where the source of grease is coming from. Your dealer should have helped you better than that.

RaggTopp makes a good cleaner but I have no experience using it on grease.

Raggtopp is a great product for cabs and if you haven't used it, you should. But the cleaner won't take off grease. I also have a small spot and have not found anything to get it off. But I might try your woolite suggestion.

I have used Dawn dishwashing soap for grease spots. Just put a little directly on the spot and work it in with your fingers, then rinse. You may have to repeat a few times, but it has worked great for me.
