Bose System too Bass'ey?

IMHO - I like the Bose unit in my car. Its one of the best OEM units I've had, mostly because of the bass response that most stock units lack. It is easily controlled by turning off the LOUDNESS feature (as mentioned above by WHAT) and turning down the bass setting and/or adjusting the fader forward.
LOL. Bose: Better sound through marketing. I don't like their home units at all, but their OEM packages for autos are outstanding.
