FWIW, The 04-05 GT3 rear bumper and 02+ Carrera rear bumper are the same.

On my car pictured above, the 04 GT3 bumper fit perfect without any problems. There was one additional reinforcement that was needed to securely fasten the bottom portion of bumper and that was an OEM part. Then of course, I had to purchase new tailpipes to go with bumper. According to the body shop it was a very easy upgrade. Just so you are not confused, all 99-01 996's shared the same bumper, so I assume the upgrade will work for you also. Good luck!

BPANOS THANK YOU. DO YOU HAVE THE PART NUMBERS FOR THE REINFORCEMENTS? WILL I ALSO NEED NEW HEAT SHIELDS?

Sorry, I don't know the part numbers and I'm not sure about the heat shields. My body shop spoke directly with Porsche dealership and they advised. If I remember correctly, the original heat shields remained on car.
