Removable roll bar for a 996 cabriolet?

Does anyone know of a easily removable roll bar for a 996 cab? I would like a roll bar so that I can easily convert my cab for track days then quickly return back to stock for daily driving.

That does not really exist. Saw a guy in the BMWCCA try it anyone who try a "quick-release" pull apart bar would destroy the integrity of the roll bar.

What Lowstro said. Why wouldn't you want to just leave it in? A) it looks cool B) the back seat area is worthless anyway C) it looks cool

I actually wnated to look at his same route when i got the car but once I realized I drove like a ****** bag when no one was around, it scared me to think of rolling without it. Erubin, you will not even want to take it out after your first track day.

I actually use the rear seats on a daily basis when I drop my kids off at school, therefore I cannot put in a permanent bar. I believe I just solved the problem by deciding to buy a track car.

Even better idea! More $$$ than a roll bar, but still a better idea.

I agree. I am going to get a Lotus Exige S. It should be cheaper to run on the track a lot of fun to drive. Once I get proficient with the Exige, I will step up to a GT3.

does a roll bar cut that much room from the back seats?

You can put plenty of "stuff" back there, but no people.
