I have an 03 c4s...EVOMit software, b&b exhaust, EVO CAI......will I gain additional performance and sound with headers withour performance cats?

Anybody?

 

From what I read, the gain will be minimal. But the X51 headers are pretty cheap - and perhaps with your EVOMs software tweaks, there could be some benefit.

For what its worth, I think the OEM headers have been shown to be pretty good. For this reason, in addition to my Tubi exhaust, I plan to add the Fabspeed X-pipe sport cats.

let me know if you decide to get some new headers / and what you get.

 

Thanks for the response. Had the EVO Headers installed yesterday. All good. Deeper sound at the exhaust. Smoother pedal response through rpm's. I'm pleased. Sunny day in Oregon...have had the car out all day.
