$2000 just to paint a few pieces of your interior, thats all they're doing, after all you have to take yours out & send back to them, if your gonna have to take yours off to start with, why not just take them to your body shop & let them paint them, i bet you it wouldn't cost no where near $2000.

 

I installed some silver rings a few weeks ago and am very happy with it, it's very easy to get carried away and have everything painted red (whoops too late ) but I think the right amount of silver & carbon fiber balances things.

Not sure if you're talking to me but I was being nice to you (not sure what the job has to with it though).
I meant that I'm compulsive obsessive so when I go red I go RED and always think no too much Sid... only to realize, whoops too late.

 

do the instrument surrounds on the dial come out to make painting easier? Or did you tape the off and paint them?

everything should be taken off and prepped right if u want it to look good, i took everything apart, and i think ur talking about the rings...there just 3m tape on them so u can remove them

 

So the rings are just on with 3M Tape. Then you don't need to remove the whole gauge and pod just gently pull off the rings? How did you remount them? 3M tape?

 

does anyone have how to diy to take out the interiors parts for repaint? thanks
